WELCOME TO THE PHILIPPINE CATHOLIC MISSION IN FRANCE
Welcome to the official website of the Philippine Catholic Mission in France. We are a community of life-giving individuals and families of Filipino migrants in France, witnessing to Christ and His Gospel under the care of our Lady (Notre Dame). Our mission is to shepherd the faithful, pursue renewed evangelization, nurture Church workers and collaborators, guided by the Synodal values of respect for life, integral development, and care for creation.
THE SACRAMENTS
We invite you to become a part of our family at the Philippine Catholic Mission in France. Whether you're a Filipino migrant or someone interested in our mission, there's a place for you in our community. Join us in our journey of faith and solidarity as we strive to live out the Gospel values in France.

The Holy Eucharist
Apart from the Tagalog Mass held every Sunday afternoonin the Chapel of Saint Bernadette in Paris, there is also an English Mass every first Sunday and French Mass every fifth Sunday. Tagalog masses are also celebrated in different churches around Paris.

Baptism
This is the first sacrament received by those who wish to become members of the Catholic Church. It can be received by children (from birth to five years of age). Parents are expected to participate in a seminar before the Sacrament of Baptism is administered. For more information, please contact sis Thess Sevilla +33 6 10 22 53 53 or see her before or after the Sunday Mass. You can also call the Chaplaincy Office +33 1 42 30 55 21

Réconciliation
The sacrament can be receieve before masses or by appointment specially for emergency cases. You can contact Fr. Jose Victor LOBRIGO +33 7 65 72 15 42.

First Holy Communion
This is given after the child has gone through a study or catechism (Sunday School) which is taught by catechists every Sunday. The said catechism lasts for at least three months. For more information, just contact the Parish Office. Watch for the “announcement” when it is given to the parish for enrollment.

Confirmation
It is only granted by the bishop of the diocese on a designated Sunday or day of his visit to the parish every year. It cannot be received by anyone who has not been baptized. Watch out for the parish's call for those who wish to register to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation. The Sacrament of Confirmation must first be received by a Catholic before he can be allowed to marry in the Church. The Church does not allow a Catholic to marry who has not received the Sacrament of Confirmation.

Matrimony
For those who want to get married, they can only do so on Saturdays. They must first consult the parish priest for their preparation and the necessary documents or papers for their marriage. The Certificate of Baptism and Confirmation are just two of the first papers that the parish requires so that those who want to get married in church can receive the Sacrament of Marriage. There are many other papers that need to be submitted to the parish

Annointing of the sick
For parishioners who are sick and cannot come to church, they can receive the Sacrament of Anointing of Oil at any time they wish. Just call or approach Fr. Jose Victor LOBRIGO so that they can be anointed with oil or have the Body of Christ brought to their home or hospital.
This is the sacrament that is often celebrated for people who are sick in their physical, emotional or spiritual lives. It is more often given to people who are sick or physically ill who are unable to attend church and are often confined to their bed.

Catechism
Aside from the catechism in the Filipino language every Sunday for youngersters, Fr. Jose Victor LOBRIGO also gives another adult catechism in English to the parishioners every first Sunday of the month. This is for the development and deepening of the faith of an interested Catholic. There is no charge. It is highly recommended that those who truly serve in the parish or church attend.
